Strong and sexy, that's Ica Serafica

Rey Gamboa - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – “Yes I’m a woman but don’t mess with me.” That’s the spirit behind the fashion line of fashion designer Ica Serafica.

It is about a modern woman being strong and confident without losing her feminine grace that creates an attractive and powerful combination.

A fashion design graduate of the Whitehouse School of Design in Sydney, Australia, Ica Serafica has worked in London, where she designed for UK’s best known high street brands, such as Topshop, Marks & Spencer, Wallis and Warehouse.  Ica has travelled extensively and while living in Chile and Vietnam, she used her unique insights from around the world to influence her designs. These influences can be seen in the blending of the fiery passion of South America, the fragile grace of Asia, and the cosmopolitan cutting edge of Britain and Europe, seen in her work’s unique and distinctive design signature.

Having established the icaserafica brand two years ago in Manila, this Anglo-Filipina is committed to keeping women comfortable with pieces with a chic vibe. Her timeless clothes can be worn with ease in comfort and confidence that seem effortless.

The clean lines of her work — as seen in cocktail designs inspired by the Bauhaus movement — make strong statements without being overly fussy, helping a woman look her best.

The elegance of lace with ultra-light chiffon and comfy linen keeps a woman fresh-looking and chic. The relaxed shapes give an aura of strength with strategic peeks offering a hint of romance.  Who doesn’t want to be strong and sexy!

Ica Serafica’s  shop is locate at Unit 303, Mile Long Building, Amorsolo St., Legaspi Village, Makati. Call 0917-632 3403 or visit www.icaserafica.com
