Wearing your blues in a fab way

Blue is a favorite of both genders. This primary color (along with red and yellow) come in numerous hues like light blue, cobalt blue, Prussian blue, navy blue, turquoise, aquamarine and teal.

Blue has been associated with melancholia (feeling blue) and the working class (blue collar worker).  Yet blue jeans (denims) are a staple for any social class.  Even Mama Mary’s robe is almost always painted blue as the color is associated with humility and holiness.

Having blue blood denotes royal or noble birth, while keeping blue chip stocks is an asset to one’s portfolio. Ateneans are loyal to blue since it is ingrained in them.

As for jewelry, one can choose from precious to semi-precious blue stones such as  sparkling sapphires, tanzanites and aquamarines to  turquoise, tourmalines, topazes, sodalites and  lapis lazuli. 

Blue flatters all age groups and skin colors.  It has remained timeless and versatile.
