Talk to them about Christmas

Got the chance to talk to young stars Matt Evans, Carla Humphries, Gerald Anderson, Alessandra de Rossi and Shaina Magdayao about Christmas. Yes the start of the Yuletide Season has surreptitiously crept in. September 1 to many is the unofficial start of Christmas. The “ber” months make up the Christmas holiday in this country that celebrates Christmas for over four months. It officially ends on the Feast of Epiphany or The Three Kings. Never mind the economic and security nightmares this country and the world are facing, jingle bells will ring merrily in the air for Christmas.

Christmas is a time for wishes — the crazier the happier. You have to be a child to enjoy the true spirit of Christmas. You have to be a child to make your wishes and hang your socks for Santa’s gifts. Let’s all try to be good kids. Who knows, Santa may just give us lasting world peace.

Five Mind Man art exhibit

The Five Mind Man Art Exhibit is on-going until Sept. 15 at the Exhibition Center for Contemporary Arts Chateu Verde, Atis Cor. Kaimito St., Valle Verde 1, Gate 6, Pasig City. The exhibit features the works of Rodel Rillera (with guest artist Asia Felipe Rillera), William Yu (with guest artist Levi Yu), Edward Liao, Roger Orobia (with guest artist Abe Orobia) and Philipp Badon (with guest artist Lara Physilizia Doble). My good friend Dr. Manny Calayan, Julieh Petallo, Marivic Nisce, Madame Guillerma Silva were the guests of honor during opening day.
