Daniel Padilla can’t wait to become a vampire in ‘La Luna Sangre’

MANILA, Philippines — “Malapit-lapit na ang katapusan ng ‘La Luna Sangre’,” “Teen King” Daniel Padilla declared in a recent interview with the press.

“Ang tagal narin kasi eh. Magwa-one year na,” Daniel said.

For him, it is all right to put an end on his prime time series with love team partner Kathryn Bernardo, even if it still tops the charts.

“Okay na siguro kasi na-strech na rin ‘yung storya,” he enthused.

He admitted that he cannot anymore wait to show people what will happen to Tristan, his character, in the story.

So, during the interview for his new sunglasses collection for local brand i2i, Daniel revealed that he will become a vampire in the series.

“Kahit ako ito hinihintay ko na maging bampira na ko eh. Medyo ang tagal ko nang naging tao,” he said with a laugh.

In “La Luna Sangre,” Daniel can be seen wearing shades a lot, so he is ecstatic to be wearing pieces from DJP, a collection he personally co-designed with i2i New York owners, husband and wife tandem of Ricco and Tina Ocampo.

“High school pa lang ako, mahilig na ko magsuot ng salamin,” shared Daniel, whose set of hip and on-trend yet inexpensive sunglasses was inspired by his music influences and Hollywood idols like Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr., and John Lennon.

If he were to become a real vampire, who would he like to bite first?

During a “La Luna Sangre” press con, he said without thinking twice: “Si Kath, siyempre!”
