It’s a #Lucky2018 for Edu & Luis

This is what father and son Edu and Luis Manzano plan to do more this 2018. Luis has been part of the Shakey’s family since last year and has been joined by his dad. Aside from being accomplished TV hosts, both are also known for their playful nature, widely followed on social media for their funny videos and witty posts.

They also personify fun when they appear in the newest advertisement. Edu is dressed in polka dots from head-to-toe to supposedly bring in “good luck,” but Luis counters this popular belief and shows his dad how to get lucky this new year by taking advantage of the Shakey’s 2018 Meal Deal promo.

Meanwhile, Luis and Edu shared their dream project outside doing endorsements together.

Luis said, “My dream project with my dad ay pagsabayin kami bilang Captain Barbell. Two of us will be playing Captain Barbell.”

Edu played the superhero character in the 1986 Captain Barbell film.

“I’ll be the one in the past, he’ll be in the future, then there will be a crossover. That’s really my dream project, that we will be together in a film,” added Luis.

Edu, on the other hand, said, “No. I’ll be the present one, and you’ll be the future. But seriously, we should have one (showbiz) project together, even if it’s a small one. Hopefully, a talk show. We were so close to having one. We sat down with management. However, the problem is, with two of us in the show, hindi makakapagsalita ang mga guest.”
