BTS' Taehyung has 'Most Handsome Face' of 2017

MANILA, Philippines — BTS' Kim Taehyung topped TC Candlers' list of the "The 100 Most Handsome Faces" for 2017.
Taehyung's group, BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan or Behind the Scene, made waves in the US last year. The seven-piece group guested in several shows and debuted onstage at the American Music Awards on November 20 last year, drawing in adoration from fans worldwide.
BTS' "maknae" or youngest member, Jeon Jungkook, placed 13th on the list, followed by Park Jimin at the 64th spot.

A total of 19 Korean pop personalities made it to the annual "Most Handsome Face" list by the Independent Critics. Led by British film critic TC Candler, the Independent Critics have been making lists since 1990. The lists have, over the years, become internet sensations.
Filipino drama favorites Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Min Ho also joined the array of handsome faces, placing 23rd and 84th, respectively.
BIGBANG's Taeyang, meanwhile, ranked 19. Taeyang or Dong Yong Bae in real life recently announced his engagement to actress and host Min Hyo Rin. The two are expected to wed next month.

Filipino actors James Reid (4th spot), Enrique Gil (61st) and Daniel Matsunaga (88th) also made it to the list.
Actress Liza Soberano, meanwhile, topped the list "World's Most Beautiful Face" for 2017.
