Julia Barretto: 'Joshua Garcia is the best thing that happened to me in 2017’

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya love team Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto said in a blogcon for their movie “Unexpectedly Yours” with Robin Padilla and Sharon Cuneta that they do not see themselves telling everyone the real score between them anytime soon, even though it looks like the only missing thing in their relationship is the confirmation.

It can be recalled that Julia was left speechless after her friend, Erich Gonzales, revealed in an interview with Boy Abunda that Julia and Joshua are now in a relationship.

Also in that show, Julia was asked: “Bakit hindi mo pa sinasagot si Joshua?,” to which she replied: “Sino ba’ng nagsabi na hindi pa?”

She also said it would be better to ask Joshua.

When asked for his comment on Julia's remarks during Abunda's show, Joshua said he is happy that Julia is proud of him.

“Para sa akin, masaya ako na proud sa ‘kin si Julia, kaya niyang sabihin, kaya niyang maging honest sa nararamdaman niya. Ayun 'yung reaksyon ko,” Joshua said.

According to Julia, time will come when the public will know their real relationship status.

“I believe that time will come and whatever it is that’s going on between the two of us, I think it’s nice we can keep it between the two of us and I am actually really happy because every time we say this kind of stuff, people respect our choice of being private about what we really are because it will really come out. There will come a time, when we’re ready to share this with everyone, but right now kahit 'yun man lang saming dalawa it’s our little secret,” Julia said.

When asked what is the best thing that happened to them this 2017, both Kapamilya stars answered that they are the best things that happened to each other's lives this year.

“Ang pinaka the best na nangyari sa akin ngayong taon na' to ay ang makatrabaho si Julia sa solong pelikulang ‘Love You To The Stars and Back’ at siya mismo. Napatunayan ko na siya talaga yung nagbibigay sa akin ng lucky charm and I hope sa 2018 ay magiging mas maganda at masagana pa,” Joshua said.

“I’m proud to say that he’s the best thing that happens to me this year. Period. Exclamation point, exclamation point, exclamation point,” Julia exclaimed.
