Robin Padilla, Sharon Cuneta love team still very alive

MANILA, Philippines — Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla are very happy with the blockbuster success of their Star Cinema movie “Unexpectedly Yours.” They thanked all moviegoers who still trust their love team.
“I think it just transcends generations. 'Yung love team na minahal noon will always transcend generations. It’s a classic team up na minahal ng karamihan. Tapos malakas siguro yung impact ng ‘Maging Sino Ka Man,’ 'yung chemistry namin, undeniable. Nagulat din ako pagkakita ko nandun parin eh,” the Megastar said.
For Robin, working with Sharon always gives him energy to work hard.
“Ako kasi idol ko talaga si Sharon. Kaya siguro hindi nawawala 'yung energy ko. Parehas 'yon nung energy ko nung ‘Maging Sino Ka Man,’ hindi 'yun nag-fade. Bihira kasi mangyari na 'yung idol mo, makapartner mo. Napaka pambihira nu'n. Kaya pag dumadating 'yung tyansa na makakasama ka (Sharon) may energy ako na kakaiba,” the "Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema" said.
Sharon said she is very comfortable working with her ex-sweetheart because she feels no inhibitions with him. Their relationship might have ended, but they turned out to be close friends to this day.
“'Pag si Robin, because he’s my co-star and we’re so close, wala akong inhibitions kay Robin kahit mataba ako, malaki ang t'yan ko. Ang feeling ko when we’re working together and he looks at me, he’s not judging me physically or not judging my acting. He’s just there to support me,” Sharon said.
The Megastar also said that when she chooses to finally retire from show business, she will pray to have a movie with Robin again.
“Love ko to eh. Basta 'pag ka-trabaho ko, kahit personal na buhay o professional, no holds barred ako kay Robin. I tell him everything so kilalang kilala n'ya ko. When we’re acting together I don’t feel any ilang, always just support, love, concern – in front of the camera or behind. My favorite movies are always with Robin, so sana kung magreretire ako, sana bigay ni Lord, last movie siya ang kasama ko.”
