More cute PBA babies

Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Thoss with two kids

(Second of 2 parts)

Here now is Part 2 of Cute PBA Babies, also compiled by sports authority Nap Gutierrez like the first installment.

As you can see in the pictures on this page, the cuties are, to quote the poet, the child is father to the man. Which simply means that years from now, these kids will grow up following in the footsteps of their dads and take up where their dads will be leaving off. As the cycle goes, every generation is an improvement of the last, so expect the hard court (and other sports) to be recharged with youthful energy.

“For sure, these future athletes will be learning a lot from their parents,” predicted Nap who spent time and effort in making the compilation made up of 29 families. “Give me a little more time and I can tell who among these kids will compete for the MVP (Most Valuable Player) honors.”

We have to trust Nap who has been in the industry long enough to chronicle the careers of such basketball legends as Caloy Loyzaga, former Senators Bobby Jaworski and Freddie Webb, Atoy Co, Manny Paner, Ramon Fernandez and Francis Arnaiz (now a preacher in the US); and, among those who came after them, Bogs Adornado, Allan Caidic, Johnny Abarrientos and Alvin Patrimonio (who was Nap’s protégé starting when they were schoolmates at Mapua).

And don’t forget Benjie Paras (who ventured into showbiz as a comedian), the father of Kobe Paras who committed to play at the UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) before he played his freshman year for the Creighton Bluejays and transferred to Cal State Northridge.
