IN PHOTOS: ‘Stranger Things’ cast charm at the red carpet of Season 2 premiere

MANILA, Philippines — The cast of well-loved Netflix Original “Stranger Things” charmed the red carpet of the premiere of its second season.

The “Stranger Things 2” premiere was held at the Westwood Village Theater in Los Angeles and was attended by most of its cast.

The second season of the widely-followed series is set 1984.

In this season, the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

Aside from the Los Angeles premiere, 13 other countries simultaneously held a global premiere including the Philippines, which is the sole country to hold the premiere in Southeast Asia. The Manila premiere was held at the Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
