Filipina in top 10 of national costume, swimsuit at Miss Grand International 2017

MANILA, Philippines — After leading the online poll at the Best in National Costume competition, Miss Philippines Elizabeth Clenci made it to the top 10 of the swimsuit and national costume segments of Miss Grand International 2017.

Last Sunday, Clenci herself reported of her inclusion in the top 10. In her post, she said: “Beautiful day everyone!! Top 10 in swimsuit, you guys are amazing, thank you.”

She also thanked her fans for greeting her on her birthday.

“I also want to thank you all SO much for the kind words and love on my birthday. It truly added to an amazing day. Second of all, I know I haven't been as active the past couple of days... I've been working very hard since the final show is just around the corner... let me tell you it is going to be AMAZING."

On Monday night, Elizabeth competed at the Preliminary Show in a Rhett Eala dress.

On Tuesday, Star Magic reported that singer-actor Xian Lim has flown to Vietnam to co-host the pageant’s grand coronation night on Wednesday with the Philippines' Nicole Cordoves, last year’s first runner-up.
