Gerald Anderson mum on taking Bea Alonzo to Star Magic Ball 2017

MANILA, Philippines — It was at the 2010 Star Magic Ball where Gerald and Bea first made noise when they left together but entered the ball with different partners — Gerald with love team partner Kim Chiu and Bea with then friend and now ex-boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo.
That same year, it was reported that Gerald and Bea broke up in London, even before they publicly admitted that they were in a relationship.
Fast forward to 2016, Bea and Gerald arrived together, and were even photographed holding hands, at the Star Magic Ball.
“I’m just thankful that I can be with her to stay the night. It’s going to be a great night! S’yempre ako ‘yung pinakamaswerteng lalaki dito ngayon,” Gerald told reporters when interviewed at the red carpet last year with Bea.
He also admitted that time that he and Bea have been dating.
This year, will they hit the red carpet together again?
When Philstar.com asked Gerald Thursday night if he will be taking rumored girlfriend Bea to the Star Magic Ball on Saturday evening, the actor playfully declared with a loud laugh: “Secret!”
According to a Star Magic press statement, Gerald will don a Joey Espiritu ensemble, while Bea did not disclose yet whose designer creation she will be wearing.
Gerald, however, admitted that he has been spinning stationary bicycles with Bea “everyday.”
He told Philstar.com during a Century Tuna event Thursday night that he and Bea listen to different musical genres while spinning, depending on their mood. Sometimes, they listen to Korean pop hits.
“Spinning is perfect kasi swak s’ya sa sport na ginagawa ko ngayon which is triathlon. It’s a big part of my life right now kasi every day ako nagspispin sa bahay,” Gerald explained.
ABS-CBN insiders, who request anonymity, said that Bea and Gerald were allegedly told to be discreet about their relationship so this will not outshine their on-screen love teams that pull hordes of fans and followers.
Who will Gerald take to Star Magic Ball — his love team partner Kim or his rumored real-life lover Bea?
As an actor, Gerald does know how to turn silence into suspense.
