MANILA, Philippines — Gabby Concepcion, star of hit GMA soap opera "Ika-6 na Utos," forgives President Rodrigo Duterte for mistakenly calling him the owner of TV network ABS-CBN.

In a Twitter post on Wednesday, the actor said: "We all make mistakes. Thank you for watching Ika 6 na Utos sir President."

On Tuesday, during his speech at the 120th anniversary of the Department of Justice at the Philippine International Convention Center, Duterte threw tirades at ABS-CBN and its chairman, Gabby Lopez, for presumably not airing his campaign ads during the elections.

"Sino naka-p— ina ninyong lahat. Ikaw? Gabby Concepcion, mukha kang pera, p— ina ka. Eh totoo man. Eh sus," Duterte said.

The president's mistake quickly spread on social media and reached Concepcion.

As a response, Concepcion posted on Instagram and Twitter: “Rome… tinamaan ng bala. Naospital bigla dahil sa mistaken identity.”

This was followed with posts that said "Sorry Na Lang Gabby Concepcion Colateral Damage" and an emoticon that suggests that he might have fallen for Georgia, Ryza Cenon's character in the series, but he is not "mukhang pera."

Lol. Na ospital bigla dahil sa mistaken identity #mistaken #accident #ikaanimnautos #stray #wrong #wrongtarget #philippines

While Gabby and online Filipinos just laughed it off, Lopez, in previous interviews with the press, said tirades from government are all part of a day's job at a media conglomerate like ABS-CBN.
