Former actress now head of Ladies Association

MANILA, Philippines — Former actress Amanda Amores has found new happiness as a wife and mother, and at the same time president of Barangay Sto. Domingo (Quezon City) Ladies Association. Her husband, Richard Yu, is the district’s Barangay Captain.

Amanda recently celebrated her birthday at Bites, a fast-food restaurant owned and managed by her daughter Kia Yu, located at the third floor of Central Market Mall. Richard and Kia helped Amanda entertain guests that included her office staff; former actress Joy Sumilang; and friend movie writers Obette Serrano, Julianito Villasanta, Roland Lerum and Virgilio Gonzales.
