MANILA, Philippines — Amid scandals and the age difference (she is 61, he is 37), celebrity doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho prove that love conquers all as they formally tie the knot in a grand, fairytale-like wedding at The American Church in Paris, France on Saturday, September 2.

The bride wore a fully embroidered, blush Michael Cinco gown with a three-meter train. The gown, said Cinco, "is made of French lace and tulle with full silk embroidery on top in baroque patterns with sequins, pearls and transparent and Rose Opal Swarovski crystals" and took 1000 hours to finish by 50 skilled artisans. A bouquet given as a gift by Louis Vuitton Philippines complemented the gown.

The groom, meanwhile, had a photo shoot at the Ritz Paris together with his groomsmen that include his "better man," actor Piolo Pascual. Other celebrity guests include Alden Richards, Marian Rivera, Pops Fernandez, Ogie Alcasid, and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.

The celebrations began with a welcome cruise and capped off with a grand ball at the Palais Garnier, with the newly weds taking their first dance to the tune of their own recording of "Take Me As I Am," from the soundtrack of the classic film, "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde."

Shortly after the wedding, the couple's hashtag, #aKHOandmyBELOved, became trending on social media.
