MANILA, Philippines — If she is not in the front of the camera today and enjoying the spotlight of showbiz, actress Yassi Pressman said she will probably at the backstage, starting as a PA (personal assistant).

That is how Alyana of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” loves the industry. “I am behind the scenes. I am willing to start in the bottom,” she said.

Luckily for her, the teen that is only known back then as a great dancer whose videos are trending in different social media has now become one of the prettiest faces and the sought-after product endorsers in the industry.

Now at the peak of her career, Yassi spends an average of eight hours in shoots and sits in the hair and makeup chair for around three hours. With barely enough time to sleep and rest, Yassi is able to maintain a healthy, bright and beautiful skin thanks to a beauty regimen that includes using Silka Papaya Soap.

“Napakaraming obstacles and challenges. May mga times na feeling mo 'di mo na kaya. But you have to be strong and the same time maniwala ka lang sa mga taong nakapaligid sayo at sa sarili mo,” Yassi said.

Besides her friends, family and fans, she credited her co-artists in the hit action teleserye for her success in showbiz. “Napaka-swerte ko na nakasama ako sa mga beteranong artista. There is so much to learn from them. Ang dami kong nakukuha galing sa kanila.”

Nonetheless, Yassi admitted that bashers are always there and she expects more to come. “I break down a lot of times. Ninanamnam ko muna lahat bago ko i-release. Kahit anong gawin mo, meron at merong masasabi ang mga tao. You cannot please everyone. Just try to be the best version of yourself.”
