MANILA, Philippines — "Huh? Sa'n nanggaling 'yun?" a shocked Anne Curtis told Philstar.com Tuesday morning when asked if rumors are true that she will play the nemesis Valentina in the 2018 remake of "Darna" with Liza Soberano in the lead role.
The actress was also mum about details of her alleged project with "Goblin" Korean star Gong Yoo. Likewise, she declined to answer questions about her upcoming wedding with restaurateur Erwan Heussaff, which is also slated for 2018.
During the public opening of fast food chain Jollibee's 1,000th store at the corner of 39th Street and Triangle Drive in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City Tuesday morning, Anne candidly shared breakfast with Jollibee and the company's officials.
If Anne would really get the part, Liza said in a recent press conference that she would be happy to work with Anne. “I’d love to work with Ate Anne. I love Ate Anne! But of course, it all depends on her,” Liza said.
Besides Anne, the names of Iza Calzado, Jessy Mendiola and Venus Raj surfaced on social media as among those being considered to give life to Mars Ravelo's snake woman.
