Kim reveals more of herself in photo book

Kim reveals more of herself in photo book

Kim Domingo proudly shows a copy of her photo book, The State of Undress, during the autograph signing for media guys. Other photos on these and the ‘jump’ pages are reprints from the book published by Summit Books.

From a Pantasya ng Bayan, Kim Domingo has graduated to Asia’s Sexy Fantasy which was how she was introduced by the emcee of the presscon for Kim Domingo: State of Undress, a photo book published by Summit Books, which, true to the title, showcases Kim in her most revealing poses so far (check samples on this page).

“Pa-sexy lang,” Kim downplayed the thrust of the book. “No sensitive part of my body is shown.”

Not that much, anyway. The book is divided into three chapters which represent “who Kim was, who she is and who she wants to be.” The first chapter (Kim’s past) features nostalgia-washed snapshots by Shaira Luna; the second (tracing Kim’s rise to fame kicked off by her Twerk It Like Miley Dubsmash video), by Ejay Leung; and the third, consisting of photos by Paolo Pineda, “seeks to demystify the enigma that is the shy yet sexy, simple yet stunning Kim.”

Before the pictorial two months ago, Kim said that she didn’t eat one whole day, starving herself to achieve the required look. Nothing was photo-shopped, she assured, “what you see is what you get.”

Kim flaunts the anatomy that landed her at No. 2 in the FHM’s 100 Sexiest (of 2017), with Nadine Lustre the surprise choice for No. 1 (any objection?).

Good enough, according to Kim whose “French-ness” shines through in the photos.

“No hard feelings,” she smiled, “wala akong sama ng loob. After all, the first time I was included on the list last year, No. 9 kaagad ako. Iba-iba naman ang taste ng tao. I’m happy for Nadine.”

The book (P250 per copy, available in newsstands, bookstores, convenience stores and supermarkets nationwide) will surely make Kim more attractive to men, especially DOMs (Darling Old Men).

“Yes,” admitted Kim, “there have been indecent proposals. Marami, nasa tabi-tabi lang. But I just ignore them.”

Lolit Solis, who claimed to know Kim very well (especially when Lolit accompanied…rather “escorted”…Kim to Macau for a “meet and greet” event), said that Kim is a one-man woman and the lucky “one man” happens to be a basketball player. “Faithful siya sa boyfriend niya,” confirmed Lolit.

Mentioned in the sparse text (writers are John Paulo Aguilera, Ash Mahinay and Maria Miniano) are the five ways “how to turn Kim’s matamis na ‘Oo’ into a sweet ‘I do’,” — 1. Be chivalrous; 2. Smell desirable; 3. Lay off the cigarettes; 4. Consistency is the key; and 5. Bring her to Paris. (Maybe she looks forward to finally meeting her biological French father in The City of Light.)

Meanwhile, who are the lucky men Kim would give complimentary copies of the book to?

“My bosses at GMA,” she enumerated (watch for your copy soon, Atty. Felipe Gozon!), “and actors I have worked with particularly Dennis Trillo.”

No politicians?

Kim blushed, at first hesitating and finally saying (egged on by Lolit), “Sina (former Sen.) Bong Revilla and Sen. Jinggoy Estrada,” whom she recently visited at Camp Crame upon the invitation of Lolit.

What about players?

“The whole Barangay Ginebra San Miguel team.” (Kim is the gin men’s muse.)

Other people who are interested in the book just have to shell out P250 for a copy.
