Filipina ‘Hamilton’ actress to sing national anthem for Pacquiao-Horn fight
MANILA, Philippines —Filipina theater actress and singer Christine Allado will represent the Philippines and sing the national anthem for the Manny Pacquiao and Jeff Horn title fight on Sunday in Brisbane, Australia.
Allado is set to sing the "Lupang Hinirang" at the Suncorp Stadium for Pacquiao's first fight in Australia.
The singer-actress arrived in Australia on Saturday. She also attended the weigh-in ceremony for Pacquiao and Horn.

Allado is part of the West End production of the Broadway musical hit “Hamilton” and plays Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds. The musical is set to be staged at the Victoria Palace Theater in November.
She is joined by Rachelle Ann Go, who will play Eliza Hamilton in the same musical.
Aside from Hamilton, Allado previously did theater work in "Phantom of the Opera" and "Alice in Wonderland". She also shared the stage with Italian classical tenor Andrea Bocelli in his Manila concert last year.
