Pia Wurtzbach gushes over author Lang Leav

MANILA, Philippines —– Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wutzbach turned fan girl when she met best-selling international author Lang Leav.

The self-confessed Lang fan, took to Instagram her emotions after finally meeting the author.

“You guys have no idea how happy I was to finally meet @langleav last night. I'm a big fan of her work,” the former beauty queen wrote in her post.

“Thank you, Lang for being so nice and sharing some advice & words of wisdom. I wish you more success and I hope you touch the lives of many other readers like me. Maraming salamat!” she added.

Pia shared that Lang’s book kept her company during her stay in Miss Universe headquarters in New York City.

 

Fangirling!! You guys have no idea how happy I was to finally meet @langleav last night. I'm a big fan of her work. Her books kept me company during my time in NYC. I remember always trying to pre-order everything I could. I'm also a huge fan of @michaelfaudet & I was privileged enough to speak to him briefly on the phone to say hi (and fangirl some more ). Like Pia, Lang also took to Twitter her message to Pia after their meetup. The author said she and Pia will meet in New Zealand soon.

“So lovely to catch up with you @PiaWurtzbach last night I had a wonderful time! Cant wait to see you again in New Zealand,” Lang wrote.

Aside from Lang, Pia shared that she also spoke with another author, Michael Faudet over the phone. Michael is also the boyfriend of Lang.

Lang is known for her best-selling poetry books “Love & Misadventures,” “Lullabies” and Memories while Michael is known for his best-selling book “Dirty Pretty Things.”

Lang is in the country over the weekend to promote her newest novel “Sad Girls.”She had a book signing in Manila and Cebu.
