Judy Ann Santos more excited to be with Ate Vi than Papa P

MANILA, Philippines — “Gusto ko talaga!” superstar Judy Ann Santos exclaimed when asked by media recently if she wants to make a movie with “Star for All Seasons” Vilma Santos and with perennial heartthrob Piolo Pascual.

But if Judy Ann would have her way, “Mas gusto ko munang mauna ‘yung kay Ate Vi kaysa kay Piolo,” she said in a recent press interview for the launch of Sun Life’s “Sun Shorts” digital films.

According to her, it is because she has made movies with Piolo already and she has not yet done anything with Vilma.

Thus, the actress has been really praying that the rumors of her making a movie with Ate Vi would become a reality.

As for Piolo, she admitted that there is a “gusot” or a misunderstanding between them that they should solve first. She did not elaborate what this “gusot” is, but she affirmed that Piolo and her are in good terms.

“Siguro nga ang daming nag-eexpect ng comeback but we've always been friends,” she reassured.

Her role in Piolo’s life has been “a shoulder to cry on.”

“Our relationship ni Piolo as co-actors is deep enough para plantsahin ang mga gusot,” she attested.

She is aware that her and Piolo’s fellow Sun Life endorser, Charo Santos-Concio, has been giggling in anticipating for a reunion movie or drama series starring Piolo and Juday.

“Si Ma’am Charo talaga, she’s our biggest supporter since ‘Esperanza’ days, back when we’re not even a love team yet,” Juday said.

If the reunion does push through, she said “it should be something worth waiting for.”

“’Di ako masyado excited kasi ‘di ko sure kung matutuloy. Baka ma-frustrate lang ako. I live by the day,” she noted. “Masyado kasing maraming nakakakilala sa’min. Alam nilang ‘di kami tatanggap ng ‘di maayos (na project).”

The actress, however, gave clues on when the reunion project would come: “Kasi ‘di ko pa nahahabol ‘yung waistline ni Piolo. ‘Pag nahabol ko na ‘yung figure niya!”
