Philippines bet named Mr. Gay World

MANILA, Philippines - John Fernandez Raspado, 36 and standing 6’2”, won Mr. Gay World 2017 during finals held in Spain. Runners-up were Candido Arteaga (Spain), Raf van Puymbroeck (Belgium), Alexander Steyn (South Africa) and Marco Tornese (Switzerland). He won five of the 12 special awards at stake: Best in Swimwear, Best in Formal Wear, Best in Interview, Mr. Online Votes and Mr. Social Media.

A Marketing graduate from St. Louis University in Baguio City where he hails from, John won in the I Am Pogay contest on It’s Showtime three years ago.
