Will one of them be another Megan Young?

Twenty-five gorgeous hopefuls will compete for the coveted 2016 Miss World Philippines crown currently perched on the pretty head of Hillarie Parungao (2015 Miss World semi-finalist) tomorrow night (Oct. 2) at the Manila Hotel. Who will follow in the footsteps of Megan Young and bring home the country’s second Miss World title?

The show is presented by Viva Entertainment headed by Vic del Rosario Jr. and CQ Global Quest, Inc. chairman/CEO Cory Quirino, covered by GMA 7. The winner will compete with 110 plus candidates worldwide in the 66th Miss World pageant in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 20. Reigning Miss World is Mireia Lalaguna of Spain.

• Catriona Elisa Gray, 22, 5’9.5”, from Albay, a Music Theory graduate from Berklee College of Music in Boston. 
• Sandra Lemonon, 21, 5’5”, Pasig City, Fine Arts from Escola Portugues de Macau who speaks six languages (Portuguese, French, Cantonese, Spanish, English and Filipino).
• Marah Muñoz, 23, 5’6”, Parañaque City, Associate in Computer Technology from Immaculate Heart of Mary College.
• Ralph Lauren Asuncion, 25, 5’5”, Batangas City, Business Management from San Sebastian College.
• Arienne Louise Calingo, 24, 5’7”, Pampanga, AB cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She speaks Arabic, Thai, Spanish, English and Filipino; a lecturer of Arabic language at Holy Angel University in Pampanga and also serves as Education USA Ambassador for the US Embassy in Manila.
• Casey Anne Austria, 25, 5’6”, Albay, an event host and disc jockey in a Legazpi City radio station and a PBB Unlimited Housemate in 2011.
• Roshiel Asingua, 21, 5’5”, Cebu City, senior BS Tourism Management student of University of San Carlos, 2014 Slimmers World Bikini Philippines second runner-up.
• Jan Helen Villanueva, 24, 5’9”, Bulacan, Computer Secretarial from Bulacan Polytechnic College, 2015 Pinay Beauty Queen Academy second runner-up and a 2013 Bb. Pilipinas candidate.
• Alyana Mikaela Cagandahan, 23, 5’5”, Laguna, junior student at UP Diliman. She was 2016 Binibining Laguna-Tourism and 2015 Miss Philippines Earth runner-up.
• Irina Cortez, 21, 5’8”, Makati City, BS Psychology senior at De La Salle University Manila, and a Top 10 finalist in both 2014 and 2015 Miss Makati.
• Vinie Camille Quiangco, 23, 5’6”, Roxas City, AB International Studies major in International Politics from Miriam College where she was 2013 Binibining Katipunera.
• Kristine Gaile Lopez, 22, 5’7”, Bulacan, BS Hotel & Restaurant Management from Bulacan State University.  She was 2015 Reyna ng Hagonoy.
