‘Cocomania’ hits New York!

MANILA, Philippines - You can’t call it any other way, judging from the pandemonium that Coco Martin (photo) has generated among his fans in New York City where the Kapamilya Sunday show ASAP was mounted yesterday (US Time).

“It was nothing short of Cocomania,” reported Baby K. Jimenez who is covering the Kapamilya event in NYC. “At the Marriott Hotel Brooklyn, hundreds of fans have started camping out as early as Saturday. The show is sold out. The fans are screaming ‘Cocooooooo!!!’ Nakakabingi!”

Simon Pineda, who plays Onyok in Coco’s hit action series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, got mobbed, according to Baby. Coco and Simon are among the Kapamilya stars featured on ASAP NYC.

“Security is tight,” added Baby. “Due to the big crowd waiting for him outside the hotel, Coco will have to leave earlier to get to the venue on time.”

Many more fans are demanding to watch the show so more seats might be added.
