Selena Gomez finds Liza Soberano beautiful

MANILA, Philippines — Days after getting up close with her idol Selena Gomez, Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano is still on cloud nine.

"It was really fun. It was amazing. She was nicer than I thought she would be. I was just really happy that she was nice and approachable," Liza told Philstar.com on the sidelines of her launch as the new face of global beauty brand Maybelline New York.

American singer Selena Gomez  staged her “Revival Tour” concert in the Philippines on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena, and the “Dolce Amore” star was not only able to catch the show, but was also able to get a photo op with her.

Recalling the fangirl moment, Liza said “I wasn't going near her at first tapos sabi niya, can I get a hug? Tapos lumapit ako sa kanya tapos hinug ko siya."

"I told her I love her and she said you are beautiful babe!" she added.

Liza said she admired how Selena remained friendly even if she has been on tour for several months now. Asked about how big of a fan she is, Liza said she has been watching Selena since her "Wizards of Waverly Place" days and has all her albums to date.
