Chanel Morales happy for network move of Ritz, Vin
MANILA, Philippines – Chanel Morales is happy to see the blossoming careers of Ritz Azul and Vin Abrenica under the Kapamilya network.
The three of them were home-grown talents of TV5. While Chanel haven’t signed a contract for a different network yet, she’s now under the management of Arnold Vegafria.
“I think they’re happy where they are now,” she said about Ritz and Vin, in an interview on Friday as she was introduced as one of the Millenial Regal Babies. “Siguro walang anything na hard feelings. Gusto nila ‘yon, e, so respect nila ang plans nila. Work lang talaga ‘yon.”
Ritz is currently working on the upcoming TV series “The Promise of Forever,” where she stars with Paulo Avelino and Ejay Falcon. While Vin has constant performances in the Sunday noontime show “ASAP.”
Now that Chanel is under the ALV management and has signed a contract with Regal Films, she hopes more opportunities will open for her.
More than that, she hopes that the people will finally see that she has a lot to offer as an artist.
“People have put me down before, of what I can do with my talent,” she said. “So maybe it’s time na to believe in me for them to see the talents na kaya kong gawin.”
Aside from her career, Chanel’s love life is also blooming because of her boyfriend Carl Guevarra.
They’ve been together for 11 months now, a relationship which she didn’t know would happen.
“Sa ‘Tropa Mo Ko’ kami nagkakilala,” she recalled. “Eventually nagka-Wattpad kami, iba pa nga dapat ang ka-partner ko hanggang sa dumating sa pictorial na siya na ang ka-partner ko. Tapos hindi kami nagpapansinan.”
As she slowly came to know Carl, she learned many things about him.
“Mabait siya and nakita ko na mahal na mahal niya ang pamilya niya. Tsaka what you see is what you get, gano’n siya,” she said.
