Game firstborn ‘royals’ play

Edgar O. Cruz - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Is firstborn Clair Kendra Kramer the superstar of child endorsers? With a fresh TVC for Nesfruta Dalandan, Chesca Garcia-Kramer and husband Doug treated her to a grand birthday party when she turned seven.

And to think Kendra started off as extra with Team Kramer — composed of siblings Scarlett Louvelle and Gavin Phoenix and their parents — in her first TVC. By projecting wholesome family fun, the members of Team Kramer are now in-demand TVC superstars with a running ad for Isuzu MU-X, Del and Tempra.

But their supremacy is being challenged by the firstborns of superstars, the babies of first-time moms from the entertainment industry who are mostly boys, naturally inheriting their parents’ good looks and acting genius. They are called showbiz royalties for premium measure.

Top of the list is Nate Alcasid, son of Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and husband Ogie. Exposed by his parents in social media upon birth and his mom being hands-on, Nate is practically growing up in studios and sets. This makes him at-home with the camera as proven by his credible acting in the Nestokid TVC including voice.

Unapologetically wearing long curled hair, Zion Gutierrez, Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati’s firstborn, is the rockstar, the endorser of the Nido 3+ with mom and grandmom Annabelle Rama and Esther Lahbati providing voiceover.

Jolina Magdangal-Escueta with son Pele Iñigo Escueta endorse Calpol for kids. Videotaped in Bangkok, Pele was very cooperative during the shoot. Another endorsement is Super Twins baby diaper, this time with dad Mark, initially released in print and on the Internet. Pele beats her mom by a good nine years as she made her first advertisement at 11 years old with the sing-and-dance group 14-K.

The crawling ultra cute baby of Dr. Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho Jr.  with the exclusive name of Scarlet Snow launched the TVC of Belo Baby products, gently stunning national TV that caused it to trend.

Baby Zia, Marian Rivera-Dantes and husband Dingdong’s firstborn, stakes her claim for Johnson’s Milk+Oats just introduced on national TV.

Something to do with school opening, advertisers of baby, kid and family-oriented products are using TV to mass-cascade their exception and efficacy.
