3rd World Premieres Film Festival winners
MANILA, Philippines – Presented by the Film Development Council Philippines (FDCP), the winners in the four categories of the third World Premieres Film Festival (WPFF) were announced and awards were handed out last July 3 at the Cinemateque Center Manila.

Main competition
•Grand Festival Prize — Yen’s Life by Dinh Tuan Vu (Vietnam)
•Grand Jury Prize — Daughters of the Three Tailed Banner by Gutierrez Mangansakan II (Philippines)
•Technical Grand Prize — Love Above All Things by Cherna De La Peña (Spain)
•Best Actress — June Lojong, Redha (Malaysia)
•Best Actor — Israel Elejalde, Love Above All Things (Spain)
•Best Artistic Contribution – Daughters of the Three Tailed Banner (Philippines)
•Best Ensemble Performance — By Accident (France)
•Special Festival Prize for its Universal Social Values — Redha by Tunku Mona Risa (Malaysia)
•Special Jury Prize (Direction) — Camille Fontaine, By Accident (France)
Filipino New Cinema
•Best Picture — EDSA by Alvin Yapan
•Second Best Picture — Ringgo: The Dog-Shooter by Rahyan Carlos
•Special Jury Prize — Curiosity, Adventure and Love by Sunshine de Leon Lichauco and Suzanne Richiardone
