‘Encantadia’ cast in Talisay tomorrow

CEBU, Philippines - The lead stars of the much-awaited requel of “Encantadia” will be in Cebu tomorrow for a Kapuso Mall Show.

Fresh from their successful show last Sunday in Davao del Norte, Kapuso actors Kylie Padilla, Gabbi Garcia, Sanya Lopez, and Glaiza de Castro, together with Rocco Nacino and Ruru Madrid, are set to mesmerize their Cebuano fans in South Town Centre in Talisay City at 5 p.m. this Sunday.

Before meeting their fans, the Sang’gres and their co-actors will also have an interview with the Cebu press. Joining them is the man at the helm of “Encantadia,” director Mark Reyes.

In the upcoming series, Kylie will play the role of Amihan, the keeper of the Jewel of Air. Gabbi will be Alena, the keeper of the Jewel of Water. Danaya, the keeper of the Jewel of Earth, will be portrayed by Sanya. The eldest among the Sang’gres and the keeper of the Jewel of Fire, Pirena, will be brought to life by Glaiza.

Kapuso hunks Rocco and Ruru will be Aquil and Ybarro, respectively.

Last Sunday’s Kapuso Mall Show in Davao saw around 6,000 people gathered in Gaisano Mall, all eager to get a glimpse of the new “Encantadia” actors.

“We are thrilled to bring the new batch of ‘Encantadia’ cast to Cebu this weekend,” said GMA Senior Assistant Vice President and Head of Regional Business Development Division Oliver Amoroso.

“Kylie, Gabbi, Sanya, Glaiza, Rocco, and Ruru are looking forward to this event because they want to personally share with their Cebuano fans the exciting things they have to watch out for in this requel,” he added.  (FREEMAN)
