MANILA, Philippines – The American pop-rock band OneRepublic is back the second time around in Manila for the MTV Music Evolution concert.

The show is set tonight at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds at 7 p.m.

The group first visited the country in 2013 for a performance at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

“It will be a different set list,” said the band’s vocalist Ryan Tedder at a press conference on Friday. “We will have new music as well. We’re in the process of developing the next album. So we’re kind of learning new songs.”

The band also revealed that they will be trying new antics during their performance, saying it the show will be “better than the last one.”

“It’ll be a better show, we promise,” Tedder concluded.

Other international performers tonight are Far East Movement, Korean pop group Apink, and singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha. Meanwhile, the local acts consist of Gary Valenciano with son Gabriel Valenciano, and popular love team James Reid and Nadine Lustre.

The show will be hosted by MTV Philippines VJs Yassi Pressman and Andre Paras, and international MTV VJs Alan Wong and Hanli Hoefer.
