$10,000 for Pia’s favorite charity

MANILA, Philippines - Witnessed by Philippine Consul General Mario de Leon (right), Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach receives a $10,000 check for her favorite charity from Prospero Lim, president of the Philippine Independence Day Council, Inc. (PIDCI) which is behind the annual Philippine Independence Day Parade in New York City. Pia was guest of honor at the Philippine Independence Ball in New Jersey last June 10. In attendance were prominent members of the Fil-American community in the East Coast.
