MANILA, Philippines – Many Filipinos know Gloc 9 and love his music, even though he has minimal TV exposure.

He explained there is no problem with network and that he's not just comfortable acting on TV.

"Kung ito’y makakatulong sa aking pamilya, pinag-iisipan ko,” replied Gloc 9 when asked if he would accept a TV project.

Meanwhile, Gloc 9 is back with Star Music after being out of the label for ten years.

"I’ve been doing this for almost 19 years na and siguro dumating sa point na naghahanap din kami ng puwede namin ma-request sa mga recording deals with other god labels. Si Star Music ang isa sa mga naging accommodating do’n," he said about his comeback.

He admitted that the future of his family is his main consideration in everything he does nowadays.

"Hindi naman po ako bumabata," he explained. “Kasi ang isa lang naman na gusto ko, e, magsulat ng kanta at mag-perform.”

“So sa tulong ng management ko ngayon, PPL at sa mga na-experience ko na rin sa mga nagawa ko na dito, ay mga request po kami na we hope ma-meet din pagdating sa negotiations,” he added.

Aside from featuring songs that reflects the lives of the masses, Gloc 9's album “Sukli” also speaks of his experiences.

"Mga bagay na ginawa ko sa buhay ko, may mga bagay tayong nakukuha in return na ang tawag ko ay sukli,” he said.

On May 29, “Sukli” will first be launched in Spotify, while the physical album will be available starting June 5, at its official launching at Market! Market! activity center.
