Aiko Melendez has misunderstanding with son over new relationship

MANILA, Philippines - Aiko Melendez and son Andrei had a misunderstanding over her new relationship.

Andrei, who is her son with Jomari Ylana, felt bad that she announced her relationship through Instagram before talking to them.

It was in April when she announced that she's in a relationship with Shahin Alimirzapour.

"Hindi ko bina-bypass ang mga anak ko doon sa pagkakataon na 'yon," she explained, in an interview with "Magandang Buhay" on Tuesday.

She added that, "kasi ang pagkakaintindi ko at that time, alam ko kapag alam nila na nagde-date ako at masaya ako ay okay na 'yon. Hindi pala. Kailangan pala formally ipaalam ko sa kanya."

This is the first time, she noted, that they had a big fight which lasted a week.

She's just thankful and happy that her partner is reaching out to Andrei.

"I don't want to force Andrei, I don't want to force Shahin. Parang I want Shahin to exert that effort to Andrei, that's why he is naman, so slowly," she concluded.
