Daniel Padilla on bashers: Napatawad ko na sila

MANILA, Philippines – Daniel Padilla has already forgiven his and Kathryn Bernardo’s bashers.

This was after they were criticized for campaigning for former Department of the Interior and Local Government Sec. Manuel Roxas II who ran for presidenct in the recent national elections.

Add to that the photo of him and Kathryn holding a ballot inside the precinct which went viral on election day held last Monday.

“Kahapon pa lang napatawad ko na. Kahapon pa lang, pagkatapos kong bumoto, parang, 'Okay, next na,'” said Daniel in an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal.

He added that this experience has become an “eye-opener” for him, as it helped him know who are the people who will stay or leave him during the hard times of his life.

After his presidential bet Roxas conceded Daniel said he will support Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte who is leading the unofficial tally of votes.

All he hopes for is that “sana hindi mawala ang tiwala namin sa mga binoto namin. At sa lahat ng binoto namin, sana huwag nilang sirain ang tiwala at gawin ang lahat ng pangako nila. Kasi kaya nga sila ibinoto dahil sa mga ipinangako nila.” — Joyce Jimenez
