Balikbayan box scam on Home

MANILA, Philippines -  Is it really no longer safe to have your package delivered right on your doorstep? Tita Maricris (Karla Estrada, photo)) also wants to know in the episode of ABS-CBN’s Home Sweetie Home tonight at 6:30.

Tita Maricris is expecting a balikbayan box to be delivered soon but she has to attend to an important matter and that makes her impossible to stay in the house all day. She tells about it to her ever trusted friend Pinong (Nonong Ballinan) and agrees to receive the balikbayan box on her behalf. A lady (Cheena Crab) and a delivery boy deliver the box but Pinong feels it was tampered. The lady insists that the box arrived in their office in such condition. While Pinong and Obet (Jobert Austria) are examining the box, they heard a ringing phone inside. They are opening the box with a knife when Tita Maricris arrives and catches them. She suspects that the two will steal the goods inside. The two explained that they just want to answer the ringing phone inside which Tita Maricris also hears. They open the box and Tita Maricris discovers that her headphone is missing and the ringing cell phone does not belong to her.
