Ariadna Gutierrez stars in Diesel’s film

MANILA, Philippines – After making Colombia proud of last year’s Miss Universe pageant, Ariadna Gutierrez is waving their flag in Hollywood.

Diesel posted a photo of him and Gutierrez on his Instagram account, and there he applauded the beauty queen for her first acting stint.

“For her first role she really was a natural,” he said in the photo’s caption.

“Proud of you Ariadna... You took what could have been an average role and made it something special. Thank you for bringing your magic,” he added.

In her own Instagram account, Gutierrez thanked Diesel for his kind words.

In Columbian, she said, “I have no words to thank you for allowing me the opportunity to fulfill one of my biggest dreams!! You were a true angel Vin!”

“XXX: The Return of Xander Cage” also stars Samuel Jackson, Nina Dobrev and Donnie Yen. It is slated for release on Jan. 20, 2017.
