Coleen Garcia on settling down: Soon, but not too soon

MANILA, Philippines – Coleen Garcia has no doubt that she’ll settle down with boyfriend Billy Crawford.

“Soon, but not too soon,” said Coleen Garcia when asked if she’s settling down anytime soon with boyfriend Billy, in an interview on Tuesday.

“Hindi pa rin siya nagtatanong sa akin, ‘yon ang pinakaimportante,” she added laughing, pertaining to a wedding proposal. “So wala pa naman plans, nothing concrete.”

During their recent vacation in U.S., Billy revealed that he already have the blessing of Coleen’s father, in case he plans to ask for her hand in marriage.

For now, the Kapamilya actress is happy that her boyfriend remains supportive of her plans in her career. She’s working on the upcoming film “Love Me Tomorrow” where she stars with Dawn Zulueta and Piolo Pascual.

“Sobrang overwhelming pa rin to me,” she said about Billy’s support. “It’s good to know to have somebody who actually supports me, who encourages me. Ngayon, hindi ako nawawala in terms of where I go, what I do, what I want to be kasi alam niya kung ano ang mga gusto kong i-achieve sa buhay ko, so he pushes me towards that.”

Coleen is enjoying her time doing movies, after starring in the defunct TV show “Passion de Amor.” She’s open to accepting TV projects again once finished with her film projects.
