Liza Soberano: Guy best friend doesn’t mean he's friend-zoned
MANILA, Philippines – Liza Soberano doesn’t believe in the negative connotation of calling a guy your best friend.
In most of her posts, she has regarded Enrique Gil as her “best friend,” which irked some of her followers since the Kapamilya actor has been very vocal about his feelings for her.
“I can’t believe people still get mad for me saying he's my best friend? Is that a bad thing?” Liza asked in her Twitter post on Saturday.
She further explained that “calling someone your best friend doesn't necessarily mean you are friend-zoning them.”
“Things can develop, right?” she added.
In a previous interview, Enrique said that both of them have other priorities and that their relationship doesn’t need a label. He added that what matter most is they’re happy. - Joyce Jimenez
