How do Nadine, James want to end ‘On the Wings of Love'?

MANILA, Philippines – Nadine Lustre and James Reid didn’t agree on how they want to end the story of Leah and Clark in “On the Wings of Love.”

The show is down to its last two weeks, and up to now the viewers are wondering if their characters will eventually end up together or will totally drift apart.

Given a chance, Nadine would like Leah and Clark to end up together.

“Gusto ko po happily together,” said the Kapamilya actress, during the finale presscon of “On the Wings of Love” on Tuesday.

“Kasi na-in love ako sa kanila, sa story nila Clark at Leah. So even me as Nadine, invested ako doon sa love story nila,” she explained. “Gusto ko rin na mag-end up sila together. Pero ang gulo-gulo na po kasi ngayon, e, so tingnan natin.”

However, James would like to end their story in “tragedy.”

“Honestly, I’m a fan of tragedy,” he said. “The tragic ending makes you want to watch the beginning again, which makes you appreciate the love story at the middle. It makes you want for them to be together, it’s an endless cycle.”

“On the Wings of Love” will air its final episode on February 26.

Aside from the finale of their show, Nadine and James are busy rehearsing for their concert “JaDine In Love.”

Some of their guests in the concert are Vice Ganda, Elmo Magalona, Yassi Pressman and Myrtle Sarrossa.

Asked why Paulo, who plays the role of Simon in their show, won’t be there in the concert James replied: “This is JaDine concert, not 'On the Wings of Love' concert,'" which elicited cheers from their fans present at the press conference.

“JaDine In Love” concert is happening on February 20 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
