Miss Colombia to Steve Harvey: Learn how to read cards

MANILA, Philippines - Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez and Steve Harvey candidly recalled the night of Miss Universe 2015.

In the teaser of Harvey's show "Steve Harvey" which will air tonight (U.S. time), the host asked Ariadna: "How do you feel about the way I handled the situation? What were your thoughts? Beacause it happened to you. Genuinely, how did you feel I handled the situation?"

After a short pause, the beauty queen replied, "You have to learn how to read cards because it was on the card."

Harvey made a mistake on announcing the winner of Miss Universe 2015 last month. He first announced that it was Miss Colombia who won the title, when it was Miss Philippines who was supposed to be crowned.

Ariadna added that she was first laughing when Harvey went back on stage to correct his announcement thinking "you're about  to make a joke."

On the first part of his interview with Ariadna, the beauty queen and the host were emotional as Harvey apologized again to Miss Colombia.

"You're the one person that I really wanted to talk to because of the mistake I made," he emotionally said. "I cast you into a spotlight, a place that I have not intended to, that I would never want to happen to anyone. I just want to say how sorry I am. I am beyond sorry for what happened that night."

"At the end of the day, I hope we walk away from this wih something special," he added.
