AlDub is most searched term in Google Philippines for 2015

MANILA, Philippines – They dominated social media. Now, they’ve dominated a search engine too.

AlDub is the overall most-searched term in Google for 2015, according the report released by Google on Wednesday.

AlDub is the portmanteau of the popular love team Alden Richards and Yaya Dub (played by Maine Mendoza) from the popular “Eat Bulaga” segment Kalyeserye.

Other AlDub-related terms are included on Google Philippines’s list of most-searched terms for the year. Maine Mendoza is the third most-searched term, while Alden Richards is sixth.
