Kris Aquino leaving 'Aquino and Abunda Tonight'

MANILA, Philippines - Kris Aquino is leaving "Aquino & Abunda Tonight."
 
The Queen of All Media made this announcement at the press conference of her upcoming film "Etiquette for Mistresses" on Wednesday.
 
"Babalik po ako sa 'Aquino & Abunda' on Monday for my final week " she said. "Alam n'yo the health issues I went through. I cannot shoot a movie and do two daily shows."
 
The film she's referring to is "Etiquette for Mistresses" which will be in cinemas on September 30. Kris is also slated to do the Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." 
 
Kris pointed out how her co-host Boy Abunda handled the show well while she worked on her film.
 
"Rightfully, the show should be 'Boy Abunda Tonight' kasi three months na halos siya lang mag-isa and I'm so happy for him," she said.
 
"Aquino & Abunda Tonight" debuted on February 2014.
