MANILA, Philippines - Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago has done it again. Her second book, Stupid is Forevermore has repeated the success of Stupid is Forever as it soared to the No. 1 spot only a month after its release nationwide, based on data from National Book Store.
In National Book Store’s July bestsellers, Stupid is Forevermore ranked first on the list of bestsellers in the Philippine publication category. The data is based on the number of copies that are sold in all National Book Store branches as well as online purchases made in National Book Store’s website (nationalbookstore.com.ph).
Stupid is Forevermore, which is packed with more jokes and witty lines from Sen. Miriam, has already sold over 100,000 copies in just a span of six weeks, seemingly replicating the success of Stupid is Forever. The first Stupid book has now sold over 400,000 copies since December 2014, making it the fastest-selling book of the previous year, according to ABS-CBN Publishing.
