Miss World graces blessing of PGH ward

MANILA, Philippines - Reigning Miss World Rolene Strauss (of South Africa) led the inauguration rites of the newly-built Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Ward of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) as part of her ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ duties. With her were 2014 Miss Philippines-World Valerie Weigmann (left) and 2013 Miss World Megan Young. Strauss left last Thursday for Indonesia. The PGH ward was formally turned over by Sta. Elena Construction last Wednesday, Feb. 18.
