IN PHOTOS: Sandara Park visits Manila for Korea Night event

MANILA, Philippines - “This is my second home,” said Sandara Park about the Philippines during the Korea Night: K-Beauty and Fun event at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati City on Monday.

Sandara, who is part of the popular Korean girl group 2NE1, is in the country to do a number of activities with the Korea Tourism Organization. The said event aims to promote Korea as a medical tourism destination. She also attended the 2015 Travel Tour Expo at the SM Mall of Asia on Saturday.

“I think honestly that beautiful people are born to be made,” South Korean ambassador Hyuk Lee quipped.

During the event, Sandara said Jeju Island and Busan are among her favorite destinations in Korea. Asked how she takes care of her skin, she quipped: “Baka magalit kayo sa akin. Ganito na ang skin ko since birth.” Koreans are known for their apparently flawless skin, adding appeal to their country as a popular destination for medical tourism.
