LOOK: Nicole Scherzinger spends time with kids in Manila, tours Intramuros
MANILA, Philippines - Nicole Scherzinger fell in love with “beautiful children” of Baseco in Manila.
In an Instagram post over the weekend, the former Pussycat Doll revealed she spent time with the children in Baseco, a depressed area in the district of Tondo, Manila.
Nicole, an American singer of Filipino descent, said she went to the Manila compound with Unicef. “
Such an honor and blessing to spend time w/ these beautiful children, esp this lit' one today. Despite tough conditions these kids are so inspiring!” she said
She also said: “I'm in the #Philippines with @Unicef_UK seeing how they support vulnerable children. I'm in love with the kids I've met, so special each one of them!” The 36-year-old singer used the hashtag #proud2bPinoy on her Instagram post.
The singer also visited Intramuros in Manila and toured the famed “walled city” with Black Eyed Peas member Apl.d.a.
Cristalle Belo, daughter of celebrity doctor Vicki Belo, were also with Apl.d.ap and Nicole in the said Intramuros tour.
"On fan girl mode as I join @nicolescherzy and @apldeap around Intramuros for a @carlosceldran tour yesterday! Thank you for arranging everything @bigbadbawang. It was such a treat being with two of my idols who are proud to be Filipino!" Cristalle said on her Instagram post.
Nicole also performed in one of the bars at City of Dreams Manila on Valentine’s Day.
