LOOK: Kris Aquino’s statement shirts amid PNoy-SAF issue

Chuck Smith - The Philippine Star
MANILA, Philippines - Is Kris Aquino trying to say something?

The TV host-actress may have remained mum on the criticism that she and her brother, President Benigno Aquino III, have received in relation to the death of 44 Special Action Force members.

But a number of netizens noticed that Kris is sending a message to her viewers--at least based on the shirts she wore during the last two episodes of her evening talk show “Aquino & Abunda Tonight.”

Kris wore statement shirts during the Monday and Tuesday epsiodes of the ABS-CBN show.

On Monday, she wore a white shirt with a statement that reads: “How beautiful it is to stay silent when someone expects you to be enraged.”
On Tuesday, her black statement shirt reads: “I’ve learned more from pain than I could’ve ever learned from pleasure.”

It is unclear, of course, if the statements had anything to do with PNoy and the SAF issue.

Kris had earlier lashed back to her family’s bashers over the issue.

This is after the ABS-CBN artist also unfollowed a number of celebrities last week.

Kris reportedly unfollowed Judy Ann Santos on Instagram after the TV host took to social media to post a screencap of an article which had the headline, “Obama Cancels Schedule to Meet Returned Bodies of Fallen Troops.”

Just saying... Obama knows his priorities...

“Just saying… Obama knows his priorities…,” she said in the caption for the Instagram photo.

Many saw this as a criticism against President Aquno, who did not attend the arrival honors for the slain members of the PNP-SAF last week.

Kris also admitted having a misunderstanding with Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid over the SAF issue, but has since patched things up with the couple.
