Allen Best Actor in Vietnam

MANILA, Philippines - Allen Dizon (photo) was named Best Actor for Magkakabaung (The Coffin Maker) and Jason Paul Laxamana, director of the said film won the NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema) Award in the 3rd Hanoi International Film Festival, Vietnam in a ceremony held Thursday evening, Nov. 27, at the Friendship Cultural Palace. 

This is Dizon’s second Best Actor trophy for the same movie, the first was in the 9th Harlem International Film Festival in New York last Sept. — Celso De Guzman Caparas
