Filmfest winners

MANILA, Philippines - Ang Nanay ni Justin Barber with Giselle Sanchez (left), produced/written/directed by Victor Villanueva won Best Short Film at the just-concluded Quezon City Film Festival. It’s part of QCX, an omnibus series of five short films. Meanwhile, Eduardo Roy Jr.’s Quick Change won at the 51st Taipei Golden Horse Festival. Catrina Nagulat of Manila Economic& Cultural Office in Taipei (above, right) receives the award from Sylvia Chang (chair of the filmfest’s executive committee) on behalf of Eduardo.
