Barbie, Thea, Andrei and Derrick are not ‘complete' without each other

The teen stars of Half-Sisters, the GMA high-rating afternoon primetime series, have become so close to each other that, understandably, they don’t feel “complete” without each other.

Cinemalaya Best Supporting Actress Barbie Forteza and Thea Tolentino play the title roles as the Alcantara sisters Diana and Ashley, respectively, with Andrei Paras and Derrick Monasterio as their love interests.

The series explores the “hetero-paternal super-fecundation” (exact words of the network’s official description of the theme) which is about the successive fertilization of two or more ova from the same ovulation by different sires. 

Directed by Mark Reyes, Half-Sisters also stars Jean Garcia, Jomari Yllana, Ryan Eigenmann, JC Tiuseco, Carlo Gonzalez, Mel Martinez, Pinky Marquez, Vaness del Moral and Carmen Soriano.

The four teen stars play the “Complete The Sentence” game. 

Thea

• I hate people…who make up stories and exaggerate them.

• The type of guys that turns me off are…the ones who smoke and have bad manners.  

• My philosophy in life is…“keep moving forward.” I believe that nothing will happen if I keep on dwelling in the past.

• I lose my temper when…a person still keeps on talking even if I already informed him to be quiet.

• When I am alone in my room I fantasize about…wearing a white, lacy dress, deep red lipstick, and cool white sunglasses, while driving a red hot car.  

• If I were somebody else, I would be…Taylor Swift. I want to write my own songs, have concert tours around the world, and of course, be the best friend of Ed Sheeran.

• I’m happiest when…I’m having fun with my friends and family.  

• I’m saddest when…someone dear to me gets angry at me and avoids me.  

• My ultimate goal is…to become a great actress, who never fails to touch the viewer’s heart.
